Notes:

An insanely aesthetic, not to mention large example of the growth-interrupted quartz out of Dalnegorsk! The unique structure of the quartz is due to calcite growing around the quartz during initial growth. The calcite was later removed (whether naturally or during preparation of the pieces, I'm unsure of) and what is left are these remarkable specimens! Notice the thin, saw-like slices out of the largest single termination - so cool!
