We are both big fans of these insanely complex and funky amethyst crystals our good friend digs in the San Juan's! These alpine quartz feature beautiful growth interruptions on every face, and re-crystalization or re-healing on the contact. This specimen in particular is unique, and out of the collection we acquired was the only one to feature this odd clustered structure.

The hike up to the zone is no easy task.. Steep grade, loose rock, and over 12,000ft in elevation to top it all!
